Bio
Marine Lagasse holds a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication and a Master's degree in Art History from the Université libre de Bruxelles (2015). After gaining professional experience in museums, she developed her PhD project in 2019 to better understand the visitor experience. Her doctoral research takes an interdisciplinary approach, advancing survey methods to capture the personal experience through cognitive, sensorial and emotional dimensions of human activity.
She defended her PhD in 2024 at both Université de Mons (UMONS, Belgium) and Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF, France). Her research was jointly supervised across two disciplines: Information & Communication Sciences at UPHF and Psychology & Education Sciences at UMONS.
Since then, Marine has been a Postdoctoral researcher in GRESAC under the supervision of Prof. Radermecker. For this current project, she investigates the personal experience and situated perceptions of various publics in flea markets, craft stores and local sellers.
More broadly, Marine’s work focuses on the methodological challenges of conducting surveys in ecological conditions.
