Bio
Hadrien Loumaye (b. 1999, Brussels, BE) currently resides and works in Brussels. He earned an MFA in Painting from ENSAV La Cambre in Brussels in 2023. He is taking part into a Doctorat in Art and Science at Free Universty of Belgium about the production in series of artworks. His recent solo exhibition, "Liminal Surface," took place at 10N in Brussels in 2023. Additionally, his work has been featured in institutional exhibitions such as "I think I've been there before" at KCCC Klaipeda, curated by Natalia Barczyńska in Klaipėda, LTI. Loumaye's artwork is included in the public collections of the Kruppa Art Foundation in Wroclaw, PL. He won the Nosco Gallery Art Prize in 2023. He has recently served as an artist-in-residence at Bouchor in Paris and The Green Corridor in Brussels. He has also collaborated with Hans Theys on a book that delves into his artistic practice and body of work.

La production d’œuvre en série
Résumé
Sa recherche porte sur la production en série d’œuvres d’art. Il mène cette recherche de manière trans-historique. Ses études de cas sont issues de période différente afin de constituer une réflexion. La spécificité de ce doctorat en art et science de l’art tient dans le fait qu'Hadrien Loumaye a une pratique picturale qui s’articule notamment autour de la question de la sérialité. Il s’agira de faire état de cette relation entre recherche théorique et pratique artistique.
